Description
This course will provide the student with knowledge of medical emergencies that may arise in the dental setting. The student will be expected to recognize signs and symptoms of specific emergencies to assist in the delivery of the suggested treatment. The patient record is also discussed in regard to patient health history. Study of pharmacology, anesthesia and pain managment particularly as it relates to the dental practice will also be covered.
