About Campus Life

 
Campus Life at Labette Community College includes special events and student organizations.
 
Special events held throughout the year include Welcome Week, Finals Fiesta, Homecoming, and Spring Fling.  These activities include free giveaways, activities, and entertainment.  Additional activities are also held in conjunction with student organizations.

Labette Community College offers a variety campus organizations for students to join.  Involvement provides students with leadership development, fellowship with other students, and in some cases, financial assistance for college.

Labette Community College's intercollegiate athletics program and its students are important components to the overall image and activities of the College. The College has women’s and men’s basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, and wrestling. In addition, a coed cheerleading/spirit squad entertains Cardinal fans. LCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and belongs to the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC). The KJCCC is widely recognized as one of the most competitive in the nation.
